The magic Rabbit-Hole, or why I love the Web

Like approximately everyone else I know, I love the Web.

My love for the Web is illuminated in different ways on different days. But today’s “I love the Web” moment is one that happens to me on a recurring basis. It is:

I see something I know nothing about — a word, a phrase, a name, a logo, an idea.

I open a new browser window and Google it. A likely-looking link appears. I click on it.

And we’re off! Down the Rabbit-Hole we go. A new world awaits.

In this new world there are invariably things mentioned that I know nothing about — a word, a phrase, a logo, an idea.

I open a new browser window and Google it. A likely-looking link appears. I click on it.

And we’re off!  Down another Rabbit-Hole we go. Another new world awaits.

Ad infinitum. The Rabbit Hole is deep.

Today’s new knowledge, brought to me by the Rabbit Hole, includes sneakernetting, plimsolls, and cavils.

Feel free to Google them.

A new world awaits.
