Versatile Wardrobe: The Prana Amaya Dress
I’m going to kick off this category with one of my new wardrobe staples, the Prana Amaya Dress.
I love this dress.
It’s unbelievably flattering, even to those of us with less-than-yogi bodies.
It’s very comfortable, and the racer-back styling leaves your arms free to move without restriction.
It’s long enough to be modest, short enough to be activity-friendly.
It’s easy care — machine wash, hang dry.
It packs like a dream — takes up virtually no space, never wrinkles.
It comes in four colors — and because it’s a popular dress at Prana (according to our local store) — it’s likely to continue being made. (I love that feature).
It’s versatile — good for hiking, for travel, for a birthday party, for lunch at a nice restaurant (and the black one could dress up easily for dinner out with a nice pair of heels and a pretty wrap).
It does not require a bra, even for those ladies with, ummm, how do I put this? Substantial assets in need of support.
And, it’s the only piece of clothing I’ve ever owned that my husband has asked me to go back and buy more of.
So I did. I now own two. Since they take up virtually no space in my closet, and I wear them all the time, I plan on owning more.
P.S. I don’t work for Prana. They don’t know anything about me. I just like the dress.
